About APS Miran Sahib

Army School Miran Sahib was established in 1978 to provide education with common syllabus and curriculum to the children of defence personnel.
Lavanaya School Maralia was Inaugurated on 3rd Apr 1978 renamed as Army School Maralia on 1st Jul 1991
The school was started with an aim to cater to the needs and to relieve the hardship of the troops located in and around R.S. Pura area of Jammu.
The school has a vision to humanize, empower and develop the right attitude in the learner so that he/she will be able to emerge as a conscious, committed, competent, self-reliant and socially active citizen who can contribute effectively towards the prosperity of the nation and the world at large.

Principal's Message

Army Public School Miran Sahib has come a long way since its inception and I'm very proud to have become a part of this organization.The school is climbing great heights ,be it in academics ,co-curricular activities or improvement in its infra-structure. The students and staff are striving hard to excel in every field. Our main focus area at APS  Miran Sahib is to produce well-balanced ,upright and positive individuals ready to contribute something worthwhile to the society. The young minds have a lot of potential within them which needs a proper channelization wherein they can express themselves.
